ABOUT MICCI :
It’s an organization of Madiga entrepreneurs and businesspersons that promotes and strives for the economic empowerment of every Madiga individual in the country. MICCI’s aim is to drive the community and its youth through self-help and entrepreneurship toward achieving the dreams of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar about financial independence and economic empowerment. MICCI works as a coordinator, facilitator, trainer, guide, and Mentor for Madiga entrepreneurs.
In terms of population, Madigas outnumber many other communities in the state, however, they are not financially strengthened and are forced to be at the bottom of the economic ladder. It is evident from historical sources that the Madigas were the foremost industrialists in the country. Hence, the MICCI’s aim is to bring that status back to the community. It is a One-Stop Resource Centre for all business, and industrial requirements.
MICCI was inaugurated by IT & Industrial Minister Sri Amarnath Garu at Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.MICCI works for the Economic Development of Every Madiga in India.
